How results are ordered
On MyClinicTrip there are two orders, both declared: the alphabetical order of the directory and the relevance order of search results. This page describes exactly how they work and what never counts.
Directory: Name (A–Z) · Search: Relevance (criteria below) · Optional: Name (A–Z), Google rating
In the directory the order is alphabetical
On the Facilities page, and in any search without a treatment or dates, facilities appear in alphabetical order by official name. The position in the directory does not constitute a recommendation, an assessment of quality or a judgement on the facility by MyClinicTrip.
After a search, relevance applies — with published criteria
When you search for a treatment or enter dates, results are ordered by relevance. It is a deterministic order, computed each time from the same five criteria, in this sequence: 1) availability declared for your dates (first facilities that declared a window covering them, then those that declared flexible dates, then those that declared nothing); 2) provenance of the treatment you searched for (declared by the facility or attested by a public registry, then inferred from the name or attested only as a category); 3) profile managed by the facility and completeness of the public information (website, telephone, e-mail, address, languages, treatments, declared prices and availability); 4) Google rating, as an average weighted by the number of reviews: fifty reviews count as much as the national average of facilities, so a handful of reviews cannot shift the order more than it should; 5) name, in alphabetical order. Next to each result you will find the reasons for its position and the “Why this order” button.
Declarations carry a date and an expiry
Prices and availability declared by a facility always carry the date of the declaration. A declaration older than six months is not shown as current: in its place appears “not declared”, with the date of the last update. Declaration freshness as a relevance criterion is coming after the search engine update.
What never counts
No payment, plan, sponsorship, contract or commercial relationship influences the order of results or of the directory. If sponsored positions ever exist, they will be separated from the results, labelled “Sponsored” and described on this page before appearing.
The alphabetical order is always one click away
In any search you can switch to alphabetical order or Google rating from the “Sort by” menu. Neither of these orders is active by default in the directory: they apply only on your explicit choice.
Scores come from third parties
The ratings and review counts shown come from Google and are always labelled as reviews from Google. MyClinicTrip does not produce its own scores, does not alter external ones and does not verify the medical accuracy of reviews. Scores come from external platforms and do not represent a medical assessment carried out by MyClinicTrip.
Facilities without a rating or without declarations
Facilities without a linked Google rating, without declared treatments or without declared availability are not hidden: they still appear in the directory, after those that have declared. They are excluded only if you activate an explicit filter (for example “Available on your dates” or “With a declared price”).
The order can change over time
Data from external platforms is updated periodically and the public registry consulted can change. The order of results can therefore vary over time, without this reflecting a change of judgement by MyClinicTrip.
